To be a part and not "apart".
Every member of the Umang family heartily welcomes the support rendered by its well wishers residing in different parts of India and the world. Community support and participation is a powerful tool to create harmony between differentiated sections of society. At Umang, the prime focus is laid on encouraging participation between the persons with disability and society at large. You could support Umang in your own little way.

  Donate in Cash
Umang is a non-profit/ non-government organisation that primarily relies on the funds, donations, sponsorships and grants that it receives from individual, corporate and institutional donors. These donations help us meet our needs for providing equipment, special furniture, assistive devices, requirements for physiotherapy, speech, gross motor activities and a host of other services.

  Donate in Kind
Any books, games or other goods that you do not need anymore, could be useful in our school. You could donate them to Umang.

  Sponsor a Child's Education
Umang reaches out to persons with disability irrespective of their financial capacity. There is a sizable number of parents who cannot completely support the special needs of their children; from basic assistive devices to books and other learning devices. You can contribute to this cause and can choose to sponsor one child's education at Umang for one year, or also make a general donation to the institute.

  Become a Volunteer
Share your ideas, skills and time with us at Umang. You don't need to have any special qualification or experience to volunteer. Instead, we provide a short orientation course on disability. Till date, Umang has received students, home makers, retired officers, teachers, corporate employees, tourists, siblings, parents and professionals as volunteers.

  Make their Day
You could make the day of our students by organising an educational tour or visit, film screening or special parties.

  Promote our Goods
Our students make a lot of things in different categories, including cards, diaries, gift envelopes, paintings, carry bags, toilet kits, bags and pouches of various sizes. You can purchase our products from our outlets. And, you could encourage and promote their skills by exhibiting their products in an exhibition/sale in your neighbourhood, office, club or shop.

  Make them Employable
You could outsource some job work to our work training unit, so that our students are employed. You could also employ a person with disability in your organisation. We would be glad to provide guidance if you are interested.

  Be a Friend
If you know any person with disability in your neighbourhood, or amongst your friends or family, extent your hand for friendship. Your visit or one phone call will make them feel happy and accepted.
